CARLOS GOMEZ

A native of Colombia, Carlos earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the National University of Colombia in 1992. Upon graduation he  started his own construction and development company with which he handled a variety of  projects ranging from residential, commercial, industrial, as well as water and gas distribution networks.

Moved by a burning desire to advance his education and knowledge, Carlos came to Colorado in 1996 to complete his M.S. in Construction Engineering and Management at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Armed with his Masters degree, he returned to Colombia and to his construction company.

Returning to the US In 2002, he joined Denver based Empire Construction Services as an assistant project manager. When he left the company ten years later, he was VP of operations. Upon his retirement from Empire, Carlos started Prisma International.

For 25 years Carlos has successfully managed ground-up and renovation construction projects ranging in costs from $100K to $30M. Those projects include municipal, office, medical, assisted living and residential. As a seasoned professional he is familiar with all facets of construction, project management processes and real estate development. Quality, safety and client satisfaction are cornerstones of Carlos’ management philosophy.

Carlos loves cycling, reading, as well as traveling. But above all, he treasures spending quality time with his wife and two sons, Emilio and Max
